Qigong can be described as a mind-body-spirit practice that improves one’s mental and physical health by integrating posture, movement, breathing techniques, self-massage, sound and focused intent. There are likely thousands of qigong styles, schools, traditions forms and lineages, each with practical application and different theories about Qi (“subtle breath” or “vital energy”) and Gong (“skilled cultivated through steady practice”). Qigong (pronounced “chee gung”) is an incredible healer.
Qigong medical practice dates back to over five thousand years ago in China by “Wu”, which translates to Shaman. The new age term “Wu Wu” most likely refers to the mystical and supernatural phenomena displayed by these ancient shamans.
In our modern world, science has discovered what these ancient shamans already knew that all of creation has its own energetic vibrating resonance. Albert Einstein attested to this with his statement, “Everything in Life is Vibration”. The universal law of nature states all matter has its own vibration. Anyone who has taken a basic chemistry class probably remembers learning about atoms, and that everything is made up of atoms. These atoms are constantly in a state of motion and depending on their speed thing will appear as a solid, liquid, or gas. Although, many things tend to convince us that they are solid there is no solidity to be found in the universe.
Susan has developed her ability to discern energy within the human body. She does this through scanning with her hands. She can feel where energy is trapped and not moving, and then restore that energy so it flows again.
